New Video: Katy Perry – ‘Wide Awake’

Katy Perry leers in her 'Wide Awake' video.

Katy Perry’s new video for ‘Wide Awake’ wasn’t scheduled to debut until June 19th but the visual somehow managed to hit the web. Framed in a fairytale setting, the clip features the singer reflecting on the many triumphs of her still short career.

‘Wide Awake’ has thus far climbed to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100. Perry performed the tune at the 2012 MuchMusic Video Awards last evening where she brought the fantasy to life. Watch the ‘Wide Awake’ video below:

Say what you want about Perry but she almost always delivers a great video. The ‘Wide Awake’ visual was a clever take on the song and a very timely release, considering the fact that ‘Snow White & the Huntsman’ is currently dominating the movie scene.
