New Video: Melanie Fiona – ‘This Time (Ft. J. Cole)’

Melanie Fiona has finally released her new video for ‘The Time’. Featuring her longtime friend, rapper J. Cole, the song is the latest offering from Fiona’s critically acclaimed yet slow-selling ‘The MF Life’ album.

Yesterday, Fiona shared behind the scenes footage of the making of the ‘This Time’ video for which she teamed with director Colin Tilley. Click footage to see that clip and watch the final product below:

‘This Time’ is a respectable effort by Fiona, especially since she had such a small budget. There is an undeniable star quality about Fiona and she was fun to watch. Hopefully, ‘This Time’ will be the hit that Fiona needs, even if it just has a major impact on Urban radio.

   She needs to drop Roc Nation as her management and get a team that is willing to put everything behind her. She is very talented but she isn’t getting the exposure she needs to make an impact. Such a shame…

   Looks like Roc Nation and J-ayz are only intersted in promting Rita Ora and all he other talent girls are left
   behind. That song is a hoit for Melaine Fiona. I like the
   song and the video.
