New Video: Tamia – ‘Beautiful Surprise’

Over a month sharing behind the scenes footage of her new video, ‘Beautiful Surprise’, Tamia has finally debuted the final product. The visual was directed by Ryan Pallotta and co-stars the singer’s husband Grant Hill.

‘Beautiful Surprise’ is the lead single fro Tamia’s upcoming album of the same name. The song has thus far peaked at #47 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Watch its accompanying video below:

Tamia basically gave us a Mariah Carey special with this ‘Beautiful Surprise video – glamour shots, sexy poses and just enough skin to avoid being labelled as ‘trampy’. It would have been great to see an actual storyline in the visual but I sense that it matches the song. Besides, ‘Beautiful Surprise’ isn’t exactly a tragic love story of love and loss.
