Brandy’s ‘Two Eleven’ album has been delayed until October 2nd but that doesn’t mean that she won’t continue to generate buzz for the record in meantime. Indeed, in addition to her stunning performance ‘Put it Down’ at the Howard Theater last evening, the contralto sang several of her classic hits.
Among the songs performed by Brandy at her 93.9 WKYS Howard Theater showcase were ‘Full Moon’ and ‘Almost Doesn’t Count’. She previously delivered a rousing rendition of the latter tune at the House of Blues earlier this week but last evening she performed it a cappella.

You gots to give it to Dawn. It took the comparisons to spur the performer out of Brandy. It takes a treat to spur some into stepping out the box.
Dawn can not touch Brandy vocally (not just now) but together they could make each other superstars. With Dawn, Drew & Carla writing and producing for Brandy. They could dominate.
Are you serious brandy isnt worried about dawn if it was anybody who inspired brandy to perform like that it was whitney smh I really wish people would stop comparing dawn to brandy cause she isnt on brandy level but dawn is talented
She got emotional at the end of Right Here for Whitney. We miss you Nippy.
That was an amazing showcase. She really left her heart out on that stage. I see she’s turning out to be a truly great performer. This definitely gets me pumped for her future performances. Exciting times for Ms. Brandy! Go ahead girl!
Vocals were an absolute yess! love it mama
p.s Brandy and Dawn are friends…they even have photos together
I am so sick of coming to a post about Brandy and someone commenting about Dawn. Similar tones…yes! But they are both on two different levels. Brandy is an artist in her own lane….and vise versa. Let her have her shine because ma did the damn thing!!!
She KILLT THISSSSS!!!!!! OMDZZZ HER VOICE WAS CRAZY!! Even when she was coughing in the last song her voice had good control, imagine in the studiio!
