Chris Brown Announces New ‘Fortune’ Single

Chris Brown’s ‘Don’t Judge Me’ single cover.

Chris Brown’s ‘Fortune’ album has thus far been a slow seller in the US since being released on July 3rd and he his determined to garner a boost in its sales. Hence, the emotional singer has selected a new single to support the record, which has yet to move 300K copies in the US.

‘Don’t Judge Me’ has officially been chosen as the next release from Brown’s ‘Fortune’ LP. The song follows ‘Turn Up the Music’, ‘Sweet Love’, ‘Till I Die (Ft. Big Sean & Wiz Khalifa)’ and ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’, the last three of which all failed to crack the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. ‘Turn Up the Music’ peaked at #10, following Brown’s performance of the tune at the 2012 Grammy Awards.

Thus far, ‘Fortune’ has sold 207K copies in the US. By comparison, Brown’s previous album, ‘F.A.M.E.’, sold 270K during its first week in stores in March 2011. Additionally, the LP generated four top 40 hits on the Hot 100, including the top 10 smash ‘Look At Me Now (Ft. Busta Rhymes & Lil Wayne)’.

I can’t get over the cover of the single…Chris really needs to explore the wide world of fonts. -______-

Chris Brown basically committed career suicide when he went in on Team Breezy. I can’t believe he told them to step it up when he didn’t have the decency to step it up and do more interviews or more performances without lip syncing or autotune. If I was a fan, I would stop buying his stuff. Plus the material he is putting out is trash. Is that his fans’ fault too?

Who’s going to support this single? His fans are the only people that bought that album and that wasn’t many people apparently. Now he’s pushed away many more from his team of fans so what is he going to do?

Plus this is still summer, ass shaking season, who wants to listen to a slow song?

At one point I was a staunch defender of Chris Brown but as of late I’m not feeling him.I bought multiple copies of Grafitti and FAME but I passed on FORTUNE as did many that bought FAME. Chris arrogance and his attitude have totally turned me off. The recent “remark” in regards to Frank Ocean is the final nail in the coffin for me.Chris actually seem to be jealous of Frank and he’s mad as hell at his fans.It blew my friggin mind to hear that he was actually blocking girls on twitter who have went all out for him…..I recall during his lowest era (Grafitti) where myself and other Breezy fans were on a site that was also a chat and we talked about how much we wanted him to come back .The site was also a site that monitored national radio play and trust when I say Chris was getting no air play.In the beginning Chris seemed genuine but I know now it was an act.

I will use my money on talented artist like Frank Ocean and I absolutely adore that man’s talent. I will support Estelle/ The Weeknd and acts like Kendrick Lamar but I am absolutely done with chris Brown.

Bad Behavior, BAd single choices, Bad lip singing performances, the record buying public is sick of chris acting like an animal. grow up little boy. Hopefully his money runs out, so he can learn what it feels like to be a responsible adult. and to team breezy a bunch of losers

I bought Fortune & I actually really like the album. Graffiti is still my favorite from him though! As for Don’t Judge Me being the next single from the Fortune…thumbs down. Bassline or Trumpet Lights, would be soooooooo much more summer time friendly, imo. Oh well I guess, just like our (Team Breezy or CB fans in general) single suggestions were swerved during the FAME era, looks like they’ll be this era as well lol.

…Especially since we need to, “Step it up!” *rolls eyes* lol
