She should contact Keyshia Cole’s people because that bitch is winning!

You don’t have to be so negative hun. I’m sure you’ll be perched as well when the video arrives.

I’m a HUGE Brandy fan (I even bought Human) and I think her timing this era has been a mess. Why can’t she just drop the video and move on to a new song? Let’s not compare her strategy to Mariah’s. Whether or not y’all want to admit it, Mariah and her people are on it with timing. Shit even Keyshia Cole is showing the girls how it’s done. Between Brandy and Ashanti, I don’t know which situation is worse.

Some of y’all need to redirect that hostility from Trent to Brandy. Brandy released her single at the end or April and what month are we in now? I agree with @Girrrl just drop the video and and move on to single #2. As a fan of Brandy, this is frustrating to watch when all you want to do is purchase the music and enjoy the visuals.

Why are people pointing the finger at BRANDY? She’s not a record exec, she’s just the artist. Brandy has been doing all that she can because she wants the ball to get rolling just as much as us; it’s the label that’s holding things up. She has no control over that. Stop blaming the artist all the damn time just because they’re the ones you can SEE.

    8. ConversationalLUSH_ says:
      July 31, 2012 at 9:50 pm

It was released on the internet in April. Not everyone stays on the internet all day following these artists every move. Radio is still eating this song up. It’s increasing DAILY. Chhh. Just be patient, I’m sure you’ll get your vevo view.

YESSSSS B-ROCKA!!!! Why don’t y’all shut the fuck up and let all the gorls be GREAT. Brandy, Keyshia, and not to mention Ci are coming back strong this year. Just enjoy GOOD music that’s coming back.

Oh yeah and lets not forget Mariah Carey. She’s slaying this year as well. Sorry for the typo above. lol!

I agree with some of the people above in that the song was just released to radio and is actually starting to pick up spins and getting to a wider audience. So i’m still excited

I do feel the timing for her this era is off, but everything happens for a reason. The song is performing moderately well on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and iTunes R&B chart without any form of promotion at all.

    14. Travis says:
      July 31, 2012 at 11:59 pm

What exactly is Mariah slaying? Her flabby titties, tetris block body, or her tired rehased songs and rent-a-rappers? The buzz for Mariah isn’t even loud. I smell a flop just like her last album

Now…………………this song premiered April 29th, available for download on May 8th or 9th…….it’s August 1st…..I’m a brandy fan, But a bish done checked out!!! Hell I’m waiting for the next single. Can somebody please tell me what the fuck is her management team doing???

    17. S.R-85 says:
      August 1, 2012 at 1:16 am

Hell I don’t even give a damn about this video now, shit just put out the next single! All I know is this album has been pushed back like 4 or 5 times, I pray this October 2nd date sticks………..this shit is frustrating.

We all now music is on the internet waaaaaay before the artist (or artist team) officially release the tune. Maybe, just maybe, the song was dropped before the artist was ready. Mind you, Brandy is doing things with this album she has never done before! So all this time about ‘era’ maybe a bit premature being that she is only beginning to promote. Stop being so evil and impatient. I’m proud to see the growth in brandy. I’m pretty sure we can’t say that aboit any of the artist mentioned above!!!

    19. KC says:
      August 1, 2012 at 3:04 am

The song is actually just now getting hype & radio play. I hear girls singing it left & right now.

The blogs might’ve known Put It Down for a good minute, but the average music listener has not. You don’t have to come at Brandy’s promotion like that because she’s actually doing a good job & her timing is more on point than people think.

    20. Ci'Yonce says:
      August 1, 2012 at 3:16 am

THANK YOU for the real and KIND HEARTED #STARZ holding it down. Some pressed stans need to shut the fuck up and support Bran. Her team knows what the fuck their doing. The video will make a huge IMPACT on the song, her marketing strategy for this era is coming well together. So I suggest those “stans” who are complaining need to #STOP

Travis Mariahs name >>>>> bottom line….. She’s done many things right as far as her single, and that isn’t even out. If Mariah could announce a single, then have it out in a few wks. Why does Brandy have to space everything out, that hinders your success. Keyshia Cole is doing a great job.

I am just so done man. This video wait has been stressful and tiring. The way her career is being handled right now is ghetto. That manager Ryan of hers is no good and does not know anything about the industry now! The timing has just been wrong, and Brandy tries to back her team up by saying everything should be done in divine time, but this just is a mess. She can admit it or not, but the song would have been a hit if she had released it properly. Keyshia Cole song is ahead cause she now has a video out and her song has not been out for that long now. Put it Down came out at the end of April, I don’t care when it was released to radio. That was 3 months ago and she still wants to push this single, the album is out in a month today. How long is put it down suppose to run. I swear I need to manage someone’s career.

I looooove me some Brandy and definitely feel she will have success, but this is all wrong, just release the video.
