Jessie J certainly gets around. In addition to performing an extensive setlist at T in the Park this weekend, the animated singer made an appearance at the 2012 Wireless Festival in London where she performed a cover of Usher’s hit song ‘Climax’.
However, it appeared as though Jessie J was a bit overwhelmed by the song, despite considerably changing the key. You may have assumed that a soprano such as her would be able to easily handle Usher’s falsetto but that was not the case. At least she had fun, though!

Beautiful cover. shes definitely my favourite vocalist that has debuted in the past few years
overwhelmed? at what time of the vid was she overwhelmed? very nice and fun cover, both artist do the song great, but if jessie j had originally made this song, i would have actually bought the single
Yeah, I’m asking the same question. I don’t see how she was overwhelmed. I would say it was bit over done, but not weak in the least. I question the audio on this cellphone video though.
Struggle?…..Ok Trent, whatever? Just because she didn’t sing in the same key as Usher, it does not mean she struggled….she did very well.
over done
She’s performed this song quite a bit this year. This wasn’t my favorite performance of it but she still tore it up! Saying she was overwhelmed is a bit of an exagerration. She’s performing outdoors and I’m sure this wasn’t her first song during her set. Give her a break! I love Jessie J. She’s my favorite new female vocalist.
