Did you know that Gwen Stefani’s ‘Hollaback Girl’ was the first single to sell over one million digital copies in the US?

Released as the third single from Stefani’s ‘Love. Angel. Music. Baby.’ solo debut album in 2005, ‘Hollaback Girl’ became the first digital single to sell over one million downloads in the US. Additionally, the track peaked at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, thus helping a feat that her band, No Doubt, has yet to accomplish.

‘Hollaback Girl’ was nominated for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year at the 2006 Grammy Awards but Stefani didn’t win either honor. Watch the video for the song below:
