We previously heard a snippet of Pink’s new song, ‘The King is Dead but the Queen is Alive’, but now the rocker diva has released the song in its entirety. Although the tune won’t appear on Pink’s ‘The Truth About Love’ album, it will be available as a B-side of her main single, ‘Blow Me (One Last Kiss)’.
‘The Truth About Love’ will arrive in stores on September 18th. The track list of the set includes thirteen songs on the standard version and nineteen on the deluxe edition. With that in mind, listen to ‘The King is Dead but the Queen is Alive’ below:
If ‘The King is Dead but the Queen is Alive’ is a B-side then can you imagine how the main album cuts will sound?! This record is catchy, gritty and showcases the very best of Pink. Her rough vocals really suited the track and she delivered on every front. Quite simply, ‘The King is Dead but the Queen is Alive’ could be a hit if she wanted it!
I think it’s cute. I like how she’s staying true to her sound.
