Trey Songz has been a busy boy during the last 24 hours and his fans are thoroughly enjoying it. The warbler just released a new song, ‘Dive In’, yesterday and he followed the tune with yet another cut entitled ‘Simply Amazing’.
On August 21st, Songz will issue his ‘Chapter 5′ album and although the previous songs that have emerged from the LP sound as though they were rejected from ‘Passion, Pain & Pleasure’, ‘Simply Amazing’ is a welcome change of pace. Listen to the tune below:
‘Simply Amazing’ is by far the best song that Songz has put forward in a long time. He experimented with his vocal range on the song instead of yodeling, the Pop-friendly arrangement is a clear departure from his previous work and the best part is that the lyrics don’t refer to milking of his prostate.
In fact, ‘Simply Amazing’ is a definite frontrunner to be a major Top 40/Mainstream radio hit if Songz chooses to promote the tune. He might even score his first #1 song and remove himself from the category of ‘almost but not quite’ artists.

Say it Trent I said the same thing to myself. He did a good job with this one unfortunately people will have something to complain about. He needs to balance more release songs like this but still give his fans what they want to hear so he can grow. If he releases more songs like “simply amazing” with a few of the usuals I think he can get the exposure he needs outside of R&B.
About time he releases something that shows a little growth

Even though I’ve never purchased any of trey music, I’ve heard his cds. Now this is different from what he’s used to doing. I still say his vocals can get better but this is a step up from his normal routine. This one song still won’t have me purchasing his cd. Trey have almost 5 million ppl following him on twitter, I bet any amount of money half of those ppl won’t go out and support trey when his cd is released, LMAO But some of yall stans do the most for him but can’t get your fav artist to go platinum, LMAO
