Miguel’s ‘Kaleidoscope Dream: Water Preview’ EP was released to iTunes today and to celebrate the event, he has premiered a new video for the set’s lead single, ‘Adorn’. That’s right, now we get to enjoy a full visual that lasts for more than two minutes!
The next instalment of Miguel’s ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ series, ‘Kaleidoscope Dream: Air Preview’, will be issued on September 11th. The singer will then release the full ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ album – a combination of both three-song EP sets and five new tracks – on October 2nd.

I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again, Miguel is an extremely talented artist but these videos and songs border on impersonations of Prince. Yes, that styling distinguishes him from his peers but more mature music fans who remember the pre-1995 era of his idol’s career may not be to eager to support Miguel because of such imitations. I love ‘Adorn’, though!
he’s so underrated. i can’t with the hair
This sound reminds me of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing”. Nice voice though…

He’s like Usher in Prince’s body! He’s very good! Didn’t think I would like it as RnB is SO generic nowadays. Great song, good lyrics, great visual, imaginative art direction. Defo gonna keep watching this guy…
Not sure if a 3 part album is a good idea after a series of EP’s. Too much stretched out over too long can become confusing and tedious. See Chris Brown oversaturation!
