Brandy Delays ‘Two Eleven’ Album Release Date (Again)

Just when it seemed as though Brandy had finally gotten her act together, the sands under her feet have begun to shift once again. Why so figurative? Well, tell us if you don’t imagine her ‘Two Eleven’ album tumbling down the Billboard charts when you discover that its release date has been delayed again.
RCA Records has announced that ‘Two Eleven’ has been pushed back yet again, this time to October 16th. The record was previously set to hit stores in April before it was shifted to August 28th and then October 2nd. Prior to his latest new break, Brandy shared her frustration concerning the many changes with the Urban Informer but it seems her team is still struggling to get a handle on the project.
Just yesterday, Brandy released her new video for ‘Put it Down’, which features Chris Brown. Luckily, the song has been gaining momentum on Urban radio and it is expect to climb beyond its previous #23 peak on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

What else is there left to say about Brandy and ‘Two Eleven’? This is gross mismanagement of the highest order and it is frustrating to see one of the industry’s most talented artists suffering in such a manner. On the bright side, she was an excellent host of ’106 & Park’ yesterday and I sense she would be a fine addition to the ‘American Idol’ judging panel next to Mariah Carey or serve as a BET Awards announcer alongside MC Lyte.

Told ya! As much as I like this chick I’m convinced she’s not serious about her career. Lmao at you saying. “Subject to change ” in the last post about her and then this happens.
Why blame Brandy? Sure, it’s her cd, but she doesn’t control when it’s released…..she’s stressed that time and time again!
These pushbacks are terrible…
What is RCA doing? Instead of delaying her joint, why don’t they get their shit together and promote her properly? Everyone from Brandy, herself, to her team and her label needs to quit messing around and get the ball rolling.
These delays are more damaging than helping. At this point, she has a better chance of selling more if she releases it next week instead of 10/16. I’m rooting for Brandy but things need to be handled better.
This post is a lil dramatic .. Its a two week pushback not a two month LOL they just want time to set up a second single properly and as trent pointed out put it down is gaining in radio QUICKLY so relax ppl its not that deep .. I’m just mad because I’m gna have to wait even longer for what is without a doubt gna be prob the best rnb album released this year (brandy NEVER dissapoints when it comes to her albums) ughhh

This isnt Brandy’s fault. She signed to RCA which is awful. She needs to put out another single asap. Good luck Bran!!
I don’t mind the wait. I’d rather them get all the songs tight and or replace them with better ones that rush another record like the sub par human album. Brandy is an awesome artist I think its worth the wait. Keep pushing g the single and stop giving out release dates. Just say January 2013.

I agree with the fact that it’s only a two-week pushback and we should be thankful it’s not longer. The thing is, this will be the FINAL delay because RCA has formally stated that this album is going to be released on October 16th which they have never done for the August release date or the October 2nd. In addition, Brandy has said she is either going to release one or two new songs from ‘Two Eleven’ before it’s release so let’s all calm down. October 16th is the FINAL release date. It sucks having to wait longer but knowing Brandy, she will make it worthwhile
