Lady Gaga announces ‘ARTPOP’ album title with new tattoo.

Lady Gaga took a break from her massive ‘Born this Way Ball Tour’ to share some exciting news with her devoted fans. The entertainer has announced the official title of her new album by unveiling its name in the form of fresh body art.

‘ARTPOP’ is the title of Gaga’s next studio album, which has been earmarked for release in spring 2013. Earlier this year, Gaga shared the first new song from the record, ‘Princess Die’, during a ‘Born this Way Ball Tour’ performance in Australia.

Gaga’s 2011 effort, ‘Born this Way’ has thus far been certified double platinum by the RIAA in the US. The LP yielded four top ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100, of which only the title track topped the chart, and tied Gaga with Mariah Carey as the female acts with most career-opening top ten singles (eleven).

   Well, tbh she didn’t said it was the tittle of her new album. She just said that it was the direction that she was taking with it, like the general concept behind the album. The official tittle is expected to be announced sometime during September.

   Really interested which direction she’s going to move in. As it seems clearly Warhol-influenced I’m thinking she’ll adopt an image more similar to The Fame era which is a good thing IMO

   First of all she didn’t say that was the album title, its a rumor. Second of all she even said herself that she doesn’t know if she’s putting ‘Princess Die’ on the new album.
