Michelle Weeks, Tisha Campbell-Martin and Tichina Arnold

Did you know that Tisha Campbell-Martin and Tichina Arnold once performed in a girl group in a popular 1980s movie?

Later known for their roles in the popular 1990s sitcom ‘Martin’, previously Tisha and Tichina joined forces in the classic movie ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ in 1986. The pair joined Michelle Weeks as part of a trio under the names of Crystal (Tisha), Ronette (Michelle) and Chiffon (Tichina).

As a group, Tisha, Tichina and Michelle performed several of the music numbers in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’, including the movie’s opening theme. Watch them belt that tune below:

   Get into those harmonies. I used to love Little Shop of Horrors. That movie used to come on all the time.

   Tisha and Tichina also did a cover of The Emotion’s Don’t Ask My Neighbors for the Sprung Soundtrack.

   I love this. Me and my sis was just watching this the other day! lol They were really singing. I think i might add this to my movie list of movies to get. ( :
