Mariah Carey just knows how to keep her fans happy. Following the release of her ‘Triumphant (Get ‘Em) (Throwback Vintage Remix)’ this morning, the living legend issued yet another version of her comeback song, which is perfectly geared toward the clubs.
The original version of Carey’ ‘Triumphant’, which features Rick Ross and Meek Mill, will be released to Urban radio on August 13th. Additionally, the song will impact iTunes in the UK on August 5th and in the US on August 7th. Listen to the Pulse Club Mix below:
Just went it seemed that Carey had topped herself with the Vintage Remix, she did it again with this Pulse Club mix. The best fact of these versions is that they both feature new vocal arrangements and sound completely different.
Hilariously, Carey revealed to us at The Lava Lizard during a special press call that the she was avoiding Dance music but she is clearly far from naive and understands that her music will reach further with such remixes. There is no denying that voice and as long as she keeps singing like that then I will be buying.
PREACH, MC!!!!! and REACH for the STARS with these dance remixes!!
Waiting for a Daivd Morales collabo tbmfh
This sounds like everything on the radio today… *sigh*
I really hope mariah is holding back and actually has some tricks up her sleeves cause i can’t and won’t with triumphant.
I’m loving these club remixes! I really hope she supports these songs even more by releasing some AMAZING music videos as well, c’mon gurl!!!
Trent, I love how honest you are. I’m a huge Mariah fan like you, and as a huge fan, you must know that she’s a “yes” person. The reason she’s releasing these remixes is because she thinks she’s catering to a mainstream artist (despite what she said on the conference call about not wanting to). She’s out of touch, and she needs a dose of reality. She doesn’t have LA Reid anymore. The original, this…by Mariah Carey standards, they’re awful. They have no structure. Yeah, she sounds fucking incredible — the best she’s sounded on a studio track in 15 years, but that doesn’t make the song itself good.
It feels like Christmas in August today for me. I am so happy today to be treated to not one but two remixes of Mariah new song. Although I like the original and was defending it to the stones yesterday I must say today version are so much better. These well shut the haters up. Thank you for making it available for us to here
mariah is FINALLY singing her ass off on this track. There is NO holding back and the full voice effect. I had written her off yesterday with that tired rick ross version–how the hell is red bottoms inspirational? Rick Ross is tired. This gives me BUTTERFLY/FLY AWAY house mix or Honey Morales mix. SING MIMI……whitney would LOVE this
I love her vocals
Yaaaaasssssssssssssss
YESSSSSSS MIMI sing it to the heavens!!!!!!
I’d rather her promote the remixes than the original. If she wants to ‘revive Rnb’ then do it with a better song, not this Meek Mill & Rick Ross shizz.
I like this song! Go MC! Making it do what it do- rock!
EPIC!
Been waiting a long time and glad my Maryah is back!!! Can’t wait for the entire album and thanks Mariah for making these versions available to your fans. Hope you will very smart on the selection of your next single and with the music videos. To all the people that are criticizing the club remixes: this is part of the music and PR business and it does NOT mean she is going towards that direction. All songs that become a hit, also happen to have a dance club version which is something that has been happening LONG time ago. Go Mariah. Love u!!!!!
This is really good. I like how she is catering for different markets. Makes me feel like we are back in 1996 with singles that had 6 remixes on them. She really is making a big effort and respecting the music. This mix does sound a bit similar to Kelly Rowland’s Down for Whatever and maybe Britney Spears’ Up n Down
Triumphant is not a triumph. The single doen’t even feature the “main artist”, is a result of an uninspired production duo who creates superfluous music (and only really had one Mariah hit: WBT). What would really have been unique is if Mariah teamed up with Darkchild or any of the plethora of new and exciting producers and muso’s out there
@Anthony Mariah did a song with Darkchild last month
David…..you ‘ve heard one song. How do you even know who she worked with.?
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!
Loving the vocals! ^_^
Tried to give this song a few spins before forming an opinion, however I’m just not feeling it. These remixes are better than the original, but this song in general just is not it. I’m still hopeful for the album though because she does sound fabulous
