Mariah Carey isn’t the only diva who has crafted multiple versions of her music in an attempt to storm the charts. Alicia Keys has also prepared several editions of her new song, ‘Girl on Fire’, and one mix of the tune – the Inferno version – includes a verse from Nicki Minaj.
Keys has readied three versions of ‘Girl on Fire’ – the original, the Inferno and and Blue Light editions. The main mix of the tune will debut on September 4th and Keys has already shared a preview of the track with MTV to hype her fans for her upcoming performance at the 2012 MTV VMA on September 6th.
On November 27th, Keys will release her ‘Girl on Fire’ album, which comprises contributions from Babyface, Rico Love, Emeli Sande, Swizz Beatz, Pop & Oak, Jeff Bhasker, Sevyn and others. See the single cover for her ‘Girl on Fire’ Blue Light edition below:

Nicki diesn’t always gurantee a hit single. Alicia can do it alone. Her song seems as though it’s gonna sound great without Nicki.
@Theman she hasn’t done a feature that wasn’t on billboard honey! And I can’t wait to hear all the versions!!! I hope nicki brings her A game though because she hasn’t been taking here music seriously lately! She always say she makes songs that make her laugh now. But she needs to bring it on this ft!!!
I’m excited about this project. Alicia never disappoints me so I’m ready!!! As far as her adding Nicki onto the song, I think it’s a good look. I think Alicia working with other people is a great idea and I think an Alicia Keys song can inspire Nicki to come up with something magical! Nicki better not drop the ball.

I’m not crazy about the collabo with Nicki Minaj. However, Alicia is a smart gal. I would never steer her wrong. Bring it on!!
Sure Nicki makes the BB charts very often, but many of those songs that she is featured on don’t always chart very high.
