Christina Aguilera Announces ‘Lotus’ Album Release Date

Hungry for some new music from Christina Aguilera? Well, if your appetite is as strong as hers then this new information will make you very excited. With the Thanksgiving season in the US on the horizon, the diva has announced the release date of her ‘Lotus’ album, which will arrive just in time for the festivities.
‘Lotus’ will issued in the US on November 13th. The set, which is the followup to Aguilera’s ‘Bionic’ album of 2010, will comprise contributions from a range of Pop music’s big names, such as Sia, who co-wrote the Golden Globe-nominated ‘Bound to You’ with Aguilera and Alex Da Kid. Rhe latter produced ‘Castle Walls’ for T.I, on which Aguilera was featured.
‘This album is about self-expression and freedom,” Aguilera notes in a special press release from RCA Records. “There is a lot I have gone through personally over the past few years and this record represents a rebirth for me. The record is about freedom and getting back to the root of who I am and what I love to do.”
The lead single from ‘Lotus’, ‘Your Body’ (see the single cover here), will hit the airwaves via ‘On Air with Ryan Seacrest’ tomorrow (September 14th). The Max Martin and Shellback-proudced song will then be available on US iTunes on September 17th. Just for a few giggles, watch Aguilera’s ‘Not Myself Tonight’ video from the ‘Bionic’ era below:

I’m excited for the album.
When your fave is as fat as Mariah right now, how do have room to shade anyone elses weight? Really makes you look stupid Trent. What’s worst is you’re not even funny. I guess a few pre-teens would find you funny but that’s it.
oh and Bionic was better than every Mariah album in the last 15 years
@taryn Bionic better than Butterfly, Rainbow, Glitter, Charmbrecelet, The Emancipation of Mimi, and E=MC? at least they all went Platinum. Hell even Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel went gold. and How long have Bionic been out? over 2 years and still struggling. Mariah had twins and still have a better body and voice than Cloroxbleachshapedtina Aguilessor

Xtina better bring it and I know she will because “Your Body” slays and deserves to be the hit it’s gonna be.
It’s sad that you can’t be glad for Xtina and feel the need to shade her weight especially when your fave is endorsing diet products and is as heavy as ever without all the photoshop smh…
and @Bre I don’t agree that “Bionic” was better than every Mariah album in the last 15 years but it wasn’t a bad album either, People seriously need to get over it… Since “Bionic” she’s had a film gross over $100,000,000 , A soundtrack go Gold and a No1 show I bet even when her new album is a success haters are gonna stay clutching at “Bionic” like there faves never have / will have a flop album SMH.
