I still can’t understand what went sour with her recording career! It seemed to me that she was the “complete package” and was right on track for a big career in music. She had the voice, she had good stage presence, she had good looks, she was young (yet no longer a little girl), she had a face and name that people recognized, she got signed to a major label, she recorded good material, she had a hit single, and she even had Will Smith supporting her and rapping on her album. Yet even with all that her album didn’t sell very well, and before long she vanished from the music scene and lost her recording contract! I don’t get. I just don’t get it. I not only enjoyed her CD and her voice, but I saw her perform as part of a multi-act tour and thought her performance was great. I’m still a fan!
