Bruno Mars Shares Simple ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ Album Cover

The cover of Bruno Mars’ new ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ album.

It looks as though Nicki Minaj isn’t the only celebrity affected by this declining economy. Bruno Mars has unveiled the surprisingly simply cover of his new album, ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’, which is actually a recycled image from his Billboard magazine photoshoot.

Cheaply packaged or not, ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ will be released in the US on December 11th. Preceded by the lead single, ‘Locked Out of Heaven’, the record entails contributions from Mark Ronson, Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie, Diplo and others. Watch the video for ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ below:

   This isn’t the cover. It’s just being used as a placeholder until the actual cover comes out. The picture of him is from his recent Billboard Mag. photoshoot.
   Come on guys…

       Wow. Calm down.
       The album is on sale for pre-order right now on both his website and Amazon. Usually an unofficial cover is used if one hasn’t been released yet. Did you really think he would use a picture of himself that was published previously in a magazine as his cover?
       So are you slow or just stupid?

   The picture wasn’t done for Billboard. Billboard magazine photos are always outtakes from album photoshoots so technically the image was shot for the album.

   With that said, there’s too much negative space behind him and the Bruno Mars font is too bright and maybe he should have it done like the “Locked Out Of Heaven” artwork.

   The image works as a promotional image but as an album cover? Not at all.
