Ciara Debuts ‘Got Me Good’ On ‘Jimmy Kimmel’

Ciara performs on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’.

As Ciara’s fans wait with building anticipation for the debut of the video for her new song, ‘Got Me Good’, footage of the entertainer’s performance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ has hit the web. The showing will be be broadcasted on television early tomorrow morning when it officially airs at 12am ET.

Multiple previews of the ‘Got Me Good’ video have been issued during the last few days. The latest clip featured Ciara plugging a pair of headphones in an act of blatant produced placement. Watch Ciara perform on ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ below:

Ciara is a fantastic live performer and the choreography in this ‘Jimmy Kimmel’ showing was incredible! It takes serious timing and athleticism to move like that, and she made it seems so easy. However, as good as she was, ‘Got Me Good’ is quite forgettable.

It is impossible to properly judge ‘Got Me Good’ from this fan footage but it really sounds similar to every other uptempo Ciara song of the last few years. Let’s just hope for the best and prepare for the worst because with Ciara, things can go either way.

    Thoughts?

i feel like ciara should stop with these types of songs and try to become a female chris brown … she got the dance moves and she can sing —> imagine a cici version of “yeahx3″ or “dont wake me up” and what happen to those really good demos like “overdose”….come on ciara i have been a fan since the beginning and you need come back and be the “Ms. Jackson” of our generation.

she doesn’t have the music to be the “ms. jackson” our generation… thing about janet is she evolved with each album: music, fashion/image, choregraphy. Ciara is not evolving. It’s like she is still suck in 2004. However, Ciara is a good performer…

She is really a knock off of Janet Jackson…nothing authentic Ciara.

The song is unfortunate. I just watched the performance and can’t remember the melody at all. Her body is amazing and she’s an incredible athlete, but that’s all for now.

She looks so manly! Janet was feminine and sexual. She’s a lame.

You must be pretty upset to still come here and comment on somebody you say you’re not a fan of.

Trent, when you start running your own label then you can talk about what’s “forgettable”. You’re the same person who stans behind Triumphant. Have a seat next to Nicki.

EXACTLY my thoughts. She is a GREAT performer but this song is veery forgettable. She cant make it a hit.

I really really really hope she releases a 3rd single in a few weeks so she can just move on.

Her performance of SORRY was on youtube as well and she MURDERED IT.

She needs to put her energy into promoting SORRY instead of Got Me Good.

Sorry is a R&B HIT and she more than killed coreography on that one too.

Lets keep it real… the R&B fans are the ones that will actually buy the CD anyway.

She needs to focus on putting out another R&B hit like Sorry is.

What is the point of judging a bad quality live version of a song to represent a finished studio version. Please let us calm ourselves and wait for what the actual song will sound like when it debuts in a few hours…..in regards to the performance, Ciara def killed the dance moves and it sounds like it could be a potential hit

Love Ci, and always loves what she does regardless. Lets be real its not the greatest song, but its ok. Problem is she’s at her 5th attempt no time for fuck ups.

If I cop that album and I hear a song that would’ve made a better second single, imma slap L.A. Reid on that M&M head of his.

She has really improved vocally. She kept her wind through the whole performance…and people say that there has been no growth. Her singing AND dancing has improved. Who besides Chris Brown can perform better??? I think not! And who is comparing her to Janet??? Her idol was MJ. I’m a HUGE fan oJanet. But she could never perform like this. And that’s the truth. And she definitely wouldn’t have the guts to dance and sing live. So give Ciara what she really deserves. When comparing her to icons…she deserves a chance. Not everyone acting like they are music executives…sitting behind there laptops.
