Did you know that The Beatles set the record for the most songs by a band to simultaneously chart on the Billboard Hot 100?
During the week of April 11th 1964, The Beatles landed an incredible fourteen songs on the Hot 100 at the same time. No other band in history has come close to matching that feat and the band’s nearest competition is the group Mumford & Sons with six hits earlier this week (October 2nd 2012).
However, Mumford & Sons merely tied another winning streak by The Beatles. On September 14th 1964, the latter band notched six titles on the Hot 100 and among those tunes was ‘A Hard Days Night’. Watch The Beatles perform that song below:
