Did you know that actress Jenifer Lewis is also an accomplished singer and Broadway performer?

In addition to her numerous acting roles on television and in movies, including ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ and ‘The Preacher’s Wife’, Lewis also performed as a background singer, both onscreen and on Broadway. One of her most notable parts was in the movie ‘Sister Act’ alongside Whoopi Goldberg.

Additionally, Lewis sang with the legendary Bette Midler as one of The Harlettes and even played the accordion during a few numbers. Watch their performance of ‘We Will Survive’ below and spot Lewis in her mermaid tail:
