You’ve seen the single cover and heard the snippet but now the full version of Eve’s ‘She Bad Bad’ has hit the airwaves. Produced by Jukebox (Willow Smith’s ‘Whip My Hair’), the song serves as the official lead single from the rapper’s new ‘Lip Lock’ album, due later this year.
The release date of ‘Lip Lock’ has been postponed repeatedly since 2007 as Eve focused on building her brand beyond the field of music. However, she is now focused reintroducing real rapping to the female Hip-Hop and ‘She Bad Bad’ might be the perfect tool with which she can achieve her goals.
Listen to Eve’s comeback single, ‘She Bad Bad’, below:
‘She Bad Bad’ certainly isn’t the best effort from Eve but it is far better than the garbage being issued by the bubblegum Pop stars who make random noises about going on roman holidays and dressing like 1998 Lil Kim for a living. The main flaw in ‘She Bad Bad’ is the key change at the bridge where the production transforms into pure noise.
Yet, the market is prime for Eve’s return so it won’t be difficult for her to get back into the mix. She just needs a less busy record that could work on Urban radio and she will be set. I am definitely rooting for Eve to win with this ‘Lip Lock’ project!
Thanks Rap-Up!
