The 2012 TeenNick HALO Awards were hosted by Nickelodeon at the Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood last evening. Among the stars who attended the event, which was developed by Nick Cannon, were megadiva Mariah Carey, Ne-Yo, Rachel Crow and Swizz Beatz.

Yes, Mimi looks amazing BUT age is catching up slowly but surely. You can tell her facial structure has changed (what with her cheeks even more prominent than ever before). And that hair does no favors for her- while I love that she’s trying to remind people of how she was in the nineties, she’s not that girl anymore. She’s a different woman- she shouldn’t go for that cutesiness. I think wavy is more her style.

She’s very playful with texture and not so much with color. She’s been different shades of blonde for a long time and I love it but I’d like to see her in brown curls again, like self retro or something. I like she ain’t dramatic ’bout her wave like other singers tho.
