Did you know that Fergie was the lead singer of a girl group before she joined the Black Eyed Peas?

Long before she stood alongside will.i.am and the other members of the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie was the front woman of the R&B/Pop girl group Wild Orchid. With fellow bandmates Stefanie Ridel and Renee Sandstrom, Fergie enjoined moderate chart success in Wild Orchid from 1992 until 2001 when she left the group. She then joined the Black Eyes Pears in 2002.

Wild Orchid’s most popular hit was the song ‘Talk to Me’, which peaked at #48 on the Billboard Hot 100. Watch the tune’s video, featuring a much younger Fergie, below:
