Christina Aguilera stars in her ‘Your Body’ video.
Christina Aguilera’s team did their best to keep her ‘Lotus’ album off the web but the power of her eager fans couldn’t be denied. Just moments ago, a new song from the record, entitled ‘Army of Me’, as an early warning of the full album’s release on November 13th.
Last weekend, Aguilera shared the beautifully written ‘Blank Page’ from ‘Lotus’ with the hopes that her fans would remained satisfied until November 13th. Perhaps, the preview of the diva’s LP made them to excited to wait. Listen to ‘Army of Me’ below:
Aguilera once described ‘Army of Me’ as ‘Fighter 2.0′ and although the message is the same, the song falls flat when it compared to its far more powerful predecessor. Still, this track provided one of the few instances where her rough belting actually suits the theme and is quite welcome to help drive the message home. Really, ‘Army of Me’ is a solid record so Aguilera certainly deserves a pass…this time.
