Ke$ha keeps the party going with a new song called ‘C’Mon’. Produced by Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco and Max Martin, the upbeat track will appear on the colourful star’s upcoming ‘Warrior’ album, due for release on December 4th.
The lead single from ‘Warrior’, ‘Die Young’, rebounded to #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week and is primed to take over the top spot on the chart. However, it will have to outshine Rihanna’s ‘Diamonds’, which is currently ranked one slot above it at #2.
Listen to Ke$ha’s ‘C’Mon’ below to determine if it will be a worthy followup to ‘Die Young’:
‘C’Mon’ is catchy and fun but nothing inventive or original. Additionally, the song has a striking resemblance to the work of Katy Perry, which is unsurprising since it was co-produced by Martin, who had such a heavy hand in Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ album. Still, with Top 40/Mainstream radio so easily dominated by mindless Pop hits, ‘C’Mon’ will score heavy airplay if released as a single from ‘Warrior’.
