Solange’s ‘True’ EP will be released to iTunes on November 27th and to make sure that her fans don’t forget about the record, the stylish singer has issued a new song from the set. Entitled ‘Lovers in the Parking Lot’, the record samples Schoolly D’s hit single ‘P.S.K.’.
Did you miss the preview of all ‘True’ tracks? If so then you’re in luck because the sampler is still available by clicking here. Also, listen to Solange’s ‘Lovers in the Parking Lot’ below:
The production is the key to the greatness of ‘Lovers in the Parking Lot’. Combined with the harmonies, the mix of keys and drums make this song quite captivating. The only real flaw is the difficulty to understand what Solange is singing. She sounds great but she could be chanting, “murder, murder babies and kittens,” and I wouldn’t even know.

I love this! I agree with the review 100%….its so good to hear music that doesn’t sound like anything thats on the radio righ now. What I want to know is why is the physical EP being released in January and not in late Nov early Dec?

I really like the song and true only issue is I cant hear what she’s saying.
P.S I def heard Beyonce’s background vocals!
The 7-song EP will be available on November 27 via Terrible Records followed by a physical release in January.
What about the 2 versions of “Sleep In The Park” thats included in the “Losing You” single? Will they be included in the EP also?
LOVE the harmony break but what you said about the not knowing what shes saying is SOOOO TRUE!
