Trey Songz well pay any price to surround himself with half naked women in clips for his nonsensical club hits but when he has a song with actual meaning, he shows little interest. For instance, his new video for ‘Never Again’ appears to have been filmed with an iPhone.
Since August 17th, Songz’s latest album, ‘Chapter V’, has sold an unimpressive 285K copies in the US. On the bright side, all three of the singles from the set – ‘Heart Attack’, ’2 Reasons (Ft. T.I.)’ and ‘Dive’ – have peaked in the top ten of the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Watch the video for Songz’s ‘Never Again’ below:
Songz had the opportunity to put forward a video for ‘Never Again’ that could have entailed a proper plot. Yet, he once again wasted the opportunity and clearly spent more money on his clothes than on the development of the production. This is such a waste of time and talent.

Wasted opportunity to show growth with such a good song.
Love the gif!
This is one of my favorite songs off his album. I agree with you Trent; this is a waste of talent and time.
