Preview: Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up’ Album

Written by Christian | Filed under Nicki Minaj
    Nicki Minaj Re-Up TheLavaLizard

Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up’ album cover.

Nicki Minaj is trying her best to remind you that she will release her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up’ on the same day as Keyshia Cole and Rihanna. So, the rapper has issued a preview of the set, which features Lil Wayne, Cassie, Tyga, and Ciara.

Set to be released on November 19th, ‘The Re-Up’ includes the previously released ‘Freedom’, a video for which will debut later this week, ‘The Boys (Ft. Cassie)’ and ‘Va Va Voom’. Thus far, none of those songs have cracked the top 40 of Billboard Hot 100.

Listen to the preview of the new songs from Minaj’s ‘The Re-Up’ album (minus the previously released tracks) below:

    ‘Up in Flames’

    ‘Hell Yeah (Ft. Parker)’

    ‘High School (Ft. Lil Wayne)’

    ‘I’m Legit (Ft. Ciara)’

‘I Endorse These Strippers (Ft. Tyga & Thomas Brinx)’

This bitch releases so much singles and videos at once . Like every week she has a single. You cant keep track of it all. Its a re-release of a re-release. She puts out more songs and albums than Rihanna and katy perry combined

She’s put out the same amount of singles as Beyonce.
She will always put out more than Rihanna because rihanna puts out 4 and then releases a new album literally each year.

That makes sense. After a decade you can start releasing 8 singles an album.

this is not a re-release of a re-release it is a re-release of her second album … pink friday is just the name of all of her albums kinda like a movie with “tyler perry presents…” same thing

Well, this time trent is accurate but misleading. the boys flopped. Freedom will debut on this weeks chart and hasn’t been sent to radio and Va va voom will probably crack the top 40 thisweek as it is in the 30s on itunes and is gaining close to 2M in audience per day. It jumped over twenty spots and was the greatest gainer last week. It should be around the 40s or top 40 this week then top 30, 20, 10 at its peak.

I doubt Nicki is checking for Keyshia but yes Rihanna’s new album will debut bigger than Nicki’s re-release. Either way, it looks like both will be blocked by Taylor who will probably discount her album that week and secure around 300k anyways. I see a top 3 debut for Riri and a top 10 resurge for Nicki.

I actually like Hell Yeah the most.
      Snippets I’d rank
      1) Hell yeah…I could hear this on radio and see a dope video to it.
      2) High school…this really reminds me o her mixtape days.
      3) Up in flames…I like this and i know i will love the entire thing even more
      4) I’m legit…it’s ok. I was expecting to like this the best but it’s just ok. Love the obama and sinead o’connor line but the look at me now thing is just decent not exceptional.
      5) I endorse these strippers…I understand that this will draw in the guys but I’m just not into stripper songs. Least memorable for me
B+ until I hear the entire song. Really hoping they release Hell Yeah but most likely she will release I’m legit and High school instead.

High School (ft. Lil Wayne) sounds like a Top 10 hit that I could see on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop chart and possibly on Billboard 100 too. I’m feeling that track the most soley on these snippets :)

I’m convinced that ML is either SB or Nicki herself, because they comment on EVERY SINGLE NICKI MINAJ ARTICLE MULTIPLE TIMES. Like, sweet girl, find a life. If her music is shitty and her sales are lackluster, it’s ok. You’ll live.

Thanks for following me. I recognize your name but not enough to tell whether you post multiple times. I really hope nicki haters are not foolish enough to think Nicki herself would post on lava lizard. I wouldn’t even think that for perez’s site. Your opinion of her is subjective and that’s fine. Just learn to not state your opinion as if it is fact. Oh, and by the way why would someone focused and dedicated to being negative toward someone they don’t like try and drag someone for praising someone they do like. I wouldn’t waste my time going off on a blog for someone I don’t like…those are the people that needs lives. That’s the ironic part…

these songs all sound so uninspired – as if she cant be bothered doing urban music and is only doing to to regain her core fanbase but she lost all credibilty a long time ago for us hip hop heads.

She has a good ear for dope production.

But how many times are we going to hear her rap about all other female rappers being her sons? Girl, we get it. You think that all female rappers owe you respect. I wish she’d find a new way to say that.

I know. You are right but they don’t understand that they want to drag people that are smart enough to only post about people they like yet the haters of the artist are the ones that lurk and stay perched up in the same thread. I have to believe that these people actually like someone and dedicates time to posting good things about them as well. I just won’t waste a comment if the subject is for an artist I don’t care for but these gurls can’t help themselves. I can respect an opinion but it seems like the naysayers try to turn their opinions into facts.

No roman reloaded is a re-release cause it has a song or two from pink friday (turn me on) which makes it a re-release and the re-up has va va voom which is from the deluxe package of roman reloaded therefore its a re-release. Calling me dumb when you dont even have any facts cause you know i got my foot on your throat #bitch

No it’s not. Turn me on was never on Pink friday. Roman reloaded is a 2nd album. The re-up is a re-release. How can people dedicated so much time on Nicki and not get their facts straight.

A re-release has some content of the original and Total sales of it and the album are counted together. Example lady gaga the fame monster rihanna good girl gone bad reloaded katy perry teenage dream:comeplete confection which is why a re-release still retains some of the name of the original

True. But Pink Friday Roman Reloaded is not a re-release of Pink Friday. The re up is a rerelease of roman reloaded.
