Christina Aguilera is still trying to make her ‘Lotus’ album happen. Earlier today, the slow-selling singer visited ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ to plug the record and she teamed with her fellow ‘The Voice’ coach Blake Shelton to perform her latest single, ‘Just a Fool’.

‘Lotus’ has sold a mediocre 140K copies in the US since being released on November 13th. In fact, the LP is selling at a much slower rate than her ‘Bionic’ album, which has thus far moved only 310K units since June 8th 2010. Watch Aguilera to her best to boost the sales of ‘Lotus’ below:

‘Just a Fool’ 

At least Aguilera sounded better during this performance than she has throughout the majority of 2012. She can’t sell albums or score a hit single but she still has some vocal ability left to enjoy. Maybe Aguilera could just give copies of ‘Lotus’ away as Christmas gifts during a Secret Santa game. You know, so that people won’t know her identity and return them to sender.
