Did you know that Elvis Presley scored more top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 than any other artist?
Not including those songs that were hits before the launch of the Hot 100 on August 4th 1958, 80 of Presley’s songs peaked within the top 40 of the chart. In case your math is a bit rusty, that means that only 28 of his 108 Hot 100 entries didn’t make it to the top 40.
