Mary J. Blige makes a guest appearance on BET’s ’106 and Park’.

As the world waits for information regarding Mary J. Blige’s next album, My Life II…The Journey Continues (Act 2), the diva has taken a sharp detour in her career. What has kept Blige so busy during the last few months? A new movie called Betty & Coretta, and she visited BET’s 106 & Park to share the good news.

Betty & Coretta will premiere via Lifetime on February 2nd at 8pm ET. Blige will star alongside Angela Bassett, who will play the role of Coretta Scott King, as the late wife of Malcolm X, Dr. Betty Shabazz. Don’t worry, Blige has been working with her acting coach and judging by her investment as executive producer of the film, she has gone the extra mile to make it a success.
