Nicole Scherzinger’s “Boomerang” single cover

There is a spot on a London theatre stage reserved for Nicole Scherzinger and if she was wise, she would take it instead of repeatedly failing to make it as a solo Pop star. Indeed, the singer’s new song, “Boomerang”, is a perfect example of how she continues to waste her indisputable talent.

Released as the lead single from Scherzinger’s followup to her commercially unsuccessful Killer Love album, “Boomerang” is the type of generic fodder that Lady Gaga uses to line the cages of little monsters. Yet, don’t take my word for it. Listen to the song below:

Scherzinger is a great singer but she has once again hidden that talent behind the same uninspired production that made Killer Love a failure. Additionally, this brand of Pop music isn’t even relevant in 2013 and sounds quite dated to 2010.

Is Scherzinger completely out of touch with reality or does she simply not care about what other people think about her music? She better be careful or else she’ll soon be known as “that lady from The X Factor” instead of as an actual artist.
