Ciara previously explained why she chose to change the name of her album from One Woman Army to Ciara. However, she shared even more details about the record when she visited Hot 97 earlier today and addressed a series of other topics, including her ongoing feud with Rihanna.

For the last time, Ciara doesn’t hate Rihanna. In fact, she doesn’t even waste her time thinking about her Bajan counterpart, who regular makes jabs at her via Twitter and Instagram. On the other hand, Ciara was happy to talk about her respect for Beyonce and why she thinks the diva deserves all the respect she is given.

Now, back to the Ciara album. Ciara stated on Hot 97 that the title of the record was changed to reflect her current independent mindset, and when it arrives in stores on July 9th, her fans will be treated to a solid body of work.
