Fantasia is known for being an outspoken prophet of the Good Word but yesterday, she shared a different type of testimony. Joined by her version of Quincy Jones, songwriter Harmony Samuels, the singer interacted with her fans and debuted several new songs from her Side Effects of You album via a special Google Hangout meeting.
Among the songs that Fantasia played for her supporters during her Google Hangout were “If I Was A Bird” and “Change Your Mind”, which interpolates the arrangement of the late Whitney Houston’s “I’m Your Baby Tonight”. She explained the meaning of every record on Side Effects of You as if standing in a pulpit and even had to fight the urge to cry at several moments in her speeches.
Expect Side Effects of You to hit stores on April 23rd, despite the fact that Fantasia has done very little to promote the album to date. Watch her share her new material with the world on Google Hangout as we wish for the best below:
