Drake can’t decide if he wants to be a goon or a care bear. After boasting about starting from the bottom and representing the mean streets of Toronto, the polarised rapper has released a new song called “Girls Love Beyonce”, in which he softly coos about finding true love.
“Girls Love Beyonce” includes an appearance by James Fauntleroy, who sings the chorus of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” as the hook. Interestingly, the song itself seemingly has nothing to do with Beyonce, unless we assume the girl about which Drake sings has the same qualities as the Pepsi lady.
Dont expect “Girls Love Beyonce” to appear on Drake’s upcoming Nothing was the Same album. This is just a special message for the young girls who think they have what it takes to keep him off the streets. Listen to the song below:
