Fantasia gets all fancy.

Fantasia has released a new song from her upcoming Side Effects of You album everyday this week, thus reducing her fans temptation to hunt for an illegal leak of the record. The latest offering from the soulful singer is the powerful “So Much to Prove”, which was co-written by Harmony Samuels and Eric Bellinger.

Similar to the previously released “Get it Right”, “So Much to Prove” is an uptempo number that showcases the raspy Fantasia belting in full voice. The fiery lyrics of the sassy song is bolstered by her carefully layered vocals, trombones, drums and a foot-stomping beat.

Fantasia is expected to perform the lead Side Effects of You single, “Lose to Win”, on this evening’s episode of American Idol and her full album will finally hit stores on April 23rd. Listen to “So Much to Prove” below:
