As Kelly Rowland’s Talk a Good Game promotional campaign continued to expand its reach, the singer made a guest appearance on 93.9 WKYS to talk about the record and one of the most interesting cuts, “Dirty Laundry”. However, she also shed light on her upcoming The X Factor (US) role and how the show has already affected her career.
Rowland revealed that “Dirty Laundry” tells the story of the personal troubles she endured almost ten years ago and that her fans were right to assume that it is closely related to the popular Destiny’s Child songs “Girl” and “Bad Habit”. She also explained why she broke down while performing the tune during the Lights Out Tour last weekend and why that will never happen again.
Additionally, Rowland chatted about her latest Beyonce and Michelle Williams collaboration, “You Changed”, and how the record was crafted by Harmony Samuels. Finally, shed light on The X Factor (US) and why the show forced her to reschedule several of her Lights Out Tour dates.
