Luke James gets Xtra close.

We all know that Luke James can sing better than most of his R&B contemporaries but does he do too much? For instance, during his recent spot on CJ’s SoundCheck on BBC 1Xtra, the crooner unleashed his full vocal range on the radio listeners and caused quite a stir, for better or worse.

James belted a powerful of “I.O.U.” and “I Want You”, and he refused to hold back as the shook the mic with a series of high notes. This leads us to the only criticism of James’ performances: does he over-sing or does her have to showoff as he makes a name for himself?
