Britney Spears looks alive for a brief moment.

It has been a while since we’ve heard new music from Britney Spears but the drought ended today when the Pop icon released a song called “Ooh La La”. Produced by Dr. Luke and Ammo, both of hom contributed to Spears’ Femme Fatale album, the track will appear on The Smurfs 2 soundtrack.

If you were hoping for a spicy tune to match the title of “Ooh La La” then think again. Spears once again hides her voice (?) behind a shroud of studio mechanics and adds little personality to the catchy yet generic song. On the bright side, “Ooh La La” is set to play during the final credits of The Smurfs 2 so this blemish on her catalogue of songs should go unnoticed.
