Are you ready to see how Janelle Monae looks in something other than a tuxedo? The unusual singer released her new video for her latest single, “Q.U.E.E.N.”, just moments ago and she actually wore a dress! Yet, even Monae’s sexier side was overshadowed by the flair of Erykah Badu.

Directed by Alan Ferguson, the “Q.U.E.E.N.” video combines fashion with music in an exhibit known as Project Q.U.E.E.N. The song is the lead offering from Monae’s The Electric Lady album, due later this year, and judging by material, the LP will boast the message of female empowerment through the sounds of Funk and Alternative R&B music.
