Iggy Azalea delayed her The New Classic debut album for months as she tried her best to land a hit single on the charts. However, the rapper has finally gained enough momentum to get the project off the ground and during her interview on Sway in the Morning, she announced that the record will be released in September.
“It will probably be the first week in September,” explained Azalea as her mentor T.I. looked on. “Fortunately for me, I have a great problem, which is that I’m trying to figure out an international release date so it can be released in every country at the same time.”
The New Classic is preceded by the UK hit, “Work”, “Bounce” and the soon to be released “Change Your Life”. Azalea is also eager to score a Rihanna feature on the song “Designer Drugs” – such a fitting title for the Bajan star – that will certainly make the album a hit.
