What happens when put a dancer who can’t sing onstage with a diva whose voice has seen better days? You get an awful performance, of course. Proving a stark contrast to Beyonce’s near pitch-perfect set at the Chime For Change: The Sound of Change Live concert were Jennifer Lopez and Mary J. Blige with their horrendous session of screaming.
After rocking the London crowd with her biggest hits, including “Jenny from the Block” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing”, Lopez called on Blige for a cover of The Beatles’ “Come Together”. Unfortunately, neither artist found common ground regarding the key of the classic song and what resulted was incessant screaming.
Lopez also performed “On the Floor” and her new song, “Live it Up”, which will appear on her new album in November. Watch her entire set on low volumed below:
