Kelly Rowland’s Talk a Good Game album has little chance of debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 ahead of Kanye West’s Yeezus and J. Cole’s Born Sinner but she hasn’t lost hope. Earlier today, the determined singer appear on Good Morning America to promote the record with a live performance and share a preview of her new video for “Dirty Laundry”.
The “Dirty Laundry” video, which was directed by Sarah McColgan, provides a look into the traumatic relationship that almost crippled Rowland’s career. During her GMA interview, Rowland described the clip as incredibly emotional and quite telling of the problems that she faced during the last ten years.
On a lighter note, Rowland hit the GMA stage to perform “Street Life” from Talk a Good Game” with Pusha T and her voice was in fantastic shape. Yes folks, the gasping and muffled vocals that defined her previous live showings were absent today, and Rowland was thoroughly impressive. Watch all the action below:
