All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Ciara’s career back together again. After scoring a default ranking in the top 3 of the Billboard 200 this week, the unfortunate singer’s self-titled album is now projected to fall out of the chart’s top 10. In fact, the record won’t even notch a slot in the top 15.

With Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail on track to rule the Billboard 200 summit for a second week, Ciara is expected to tumble out of the lineup’s top 15. Meanwhile, several albums that have been in stores for much longer than Ciara, such as J. Cole’s Born Sinner, Wale’s The Gifted and Bruno Mars’ Unorthodox Jukebox, are all still predicted to rank higher.

“I’m out!”

Ciara opened at #2 on the Billboard 200 with a humble 58K copies sold. Despite depicting a sizeable improvement on the 37K units sold by of its predecessor, Basic Instinct, in its debut frame, the album still failed match the hype generated by Ciara’s busy promotional campaign during the week of its release. There is no word regarding what Epic Records and the rest of Ciara’s team will do to salvage her fading career.
