Prepare yourself to read the silliest news of all time. During an interview with Revolt TV, the revived Timbaland revealed that he has recorded a new song called “Sorry” with Keri Hilson as a special apology to Jay-Z and Beyonce. I’m not joking; he was serious.
“I got this one song that I did with Keri on my album called ‘Sorry’,” explained Timbaland as the respect he regained in the last year slipped away. “Keri actually tells the story about the whole Beyonce thing and how she was sorry about it because she wasn’t really talking about Beyonce, but other people.”
In 2009, Hilson released a remix to her hit song “Turnin’ Me On” and it targeted several unnamed female artists. Although she has said on many occasions that she was not insulting Beyonce, the ignorant fans of the latter singer have launched insults at Hilson for years. In fact, many of them have gone as far as to wish death and disease on her with vicious threats.
Now, however, Hilson is succumbing to peer pressure and bending a knee to Beyonce on “Sorry”. Will the fans forgive her or continue to use her as a punching bag as they desperately seek attention from Beyonce, who rarely acknowledges their existence? We’ll find out when Timbaland’s album hits stores.
