Jessie J’s “It’s My Party” single cover

Fans of Jessie J can rejoice because the British sensation is back with her second single, “It’s My Party”. The songbird announced via Instagram that the track will impact radio on August 5 and follows the Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal-asssited cut, “Wild”, and from her upcoming second studio album. 

In a recent interview with Capital, Jessie nixed any ideas of the song’s accompanying visuals looking anything like Miley Cyrus’ “We Can’t Stop”. “No, I don’t think I’m cool enough to pull that off,” she joked. “If anyone’s ever come to one of my parties – it’s definitely not like that, but it’s still fun though. It still gets crazy. It’s not making out with dolls”.

Jessie J’s sophomore album boasts production from heavy-hitters such as Claude Kelly, Dr. Luke and Ammo. Watch her perform a snippet of “It’s My Party” from her Google Hangout appearance below:
