Kelly Rowland is either self-absorbed, naive or devastatingly daft. After abandoning her Talk a Good Game album shortly after it was issued on June 18, the Beyonce fan is now reportedly readying a rerelease of the slow-selling record. Yes, she really thinks people are still interested in her music career.
Singer-songwriter Lonny Bereal broke the news to Kempire Radio that he has penned new songs for Rowland that will appear on the repackaged edition of Talk a Good Game. Although he didn’t share many details, he did confirm that she has been recording fresh material:
“I vocal produced over half of the [Talk a Good Game] project and we wrote two songs that may be on the re-release that I wrote with Kelly and Jado,” Bereal explained. “She’s back in the studio, even today, back in the studio creating new music.”
To date, Talk a Good Game has sold an unimpressive 140,000 copies in the US. Rowland recently announced that the next single from the record will be the Wiz Khalifa-assisted “Gone”, so if a rerelease is really being prepared, it won’t likely arrive before the end of the year.
Rowland’s mind must be a magical place filled with dreams and delusions illusions of success. She honestly thinks that people still have any faith in her music after she left it in the bargain bin like an unwanted baby? She needs a reality check.
