Jessie J isn’t wasting any time trying to build up interest in her as-yet-titled upcoming album. The “Do It Like A Dude” singer is hoping that the release of her new song, “Excuse My Rude”, featuring rapper Becky G, will make critics have amnesia about her last two offerings “Wild” and “It’s My Party”. 

“Excuse My Rude” flaunts Jessie J’s signature cocky lyrics over a  throbbing bassline. She belts, “Excuse my rude , but I really hate you. I never thought I’d be the one to fall for it and let you” before Becy G comes in with a nursery rhyme  rap that would make Dr. Seuss blush.

Dare I say it, but it’s actually listenable. Jessie J may have taken a page out of Ciara’s book and thrown out several singles before releasing a winner (by her standards), but its good to know all that studio time wasn’t done for nothing.
